Hi, I'm James.
I'm a Libertarian organizer, author, and volunteer focused on turning big ideas into real local action. My work centers on clear messaging, community outreach, free speech, individual liberty, and helping more people get involved without needing a permission slip from the political establishment.
✎ I write, I organize, I create. The work is local, the message is simple: your life shouldn't require approval.
The slightly longer version.
I was born in Orange, California, and my life has taken me through Anchorage, Alaska, Reno, Nevada, and now Olympia, Washington. Each place has shaped the way I see people, community, and the importance of being able to live freely without being pushed around by systems that feel distant, complicated, or out of touch.
I first got involved in the liberty movement in 2011 through Gary Johnson's campaign for president. That campaign helped put words to a lot of things I already believed: that people should be free to live their lives, make their own choices, and not have government involved in every part of society.
Since then, I have stayed involved because I believe the liberty movement needs more than people arguing online. It needs people showing up, organizing, creating events, building community, supporting candidates, and explaining these ideas in a way normal people can actually connect with.
Today, I am writing books about liberty issues and creating content that helps move the movement forward with clear, understandable material. My goal is to take big ideas like freedom, responsibility, government overreach, taxes, spending, and regulation, and make them easier for people to understand and talk about.
Now that I live in Olympia, I am focused on building local liberty through outreach, writing, events, and real action. I care about making these ideas visible, approachable, and practical so more people can see that freedom is not just a political slogan. It is something worth building around.
